Steven Brett Shaklan

After graduating from Amherst College in 1996, I lived in the Former Soviet Union, first in Russia and later in Ukraine, where I worked as a reporter for the Kyiv Post, the capital city’s English-language newspaper.

Returning to New York, I earned a Ph.D. in Russian Literature from Columbia University.

Since that time, I’ve made my living as an instructional designer, creating online and blended learning courses for university, government and corporate audiences.

I am currently at work on my second novel, tentatively titled Fundamentals of Rage for the Modern White Male. It’s a comedy. Of sorts.
